The development of the updated Investment Profile of Ruse has been completed.

The Municipality of Ruse once again commissioned the implementation of the leading business organizations in the region - the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Knowing the specifics of Ruse and the region very well, the experts have selected and synthesized data in accordance with the information needs and expectations of potential investors.

The new profile contains the latest official statistical data on the population, the labor market, taxes and fees and other key indicators for the economic development of Ruse. The deluxe edition also includes the changes in economic and social reality over the past 2 years, such as the launch of investment activities at Ruse Airport, the declaration of the Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway as a national priority, the preparation of an agreement at the supranational level for the construction of a second bridge over the Danube near Rousse, as well as the announcement of the public order for the construction of an intermodal terminal.

Ruse's readiness to welcome new investments is also represented by the Municipality's active participation in various standards and programs for good practices and the fight against corruption of leading international organizations. In 2022, Mayor Pencho Milkov topped the Transparency Without Borders Association's Local Integrity System Index ranking. The Municipality of Ruse is also included in the program of the International Republican Institute /IRI/ to deal with vulnerabilities to corruption and is preparing the introduction of the Standard for Accountability and Integrity of Local Government by the Anti-Corruption Fund.
