There are convenient business spaces in different city areas, however the large
industrial zones are located in the outskirts of the city. The Ruse local administration
cooperates actively with the managers who developed some of the most successful business
parks in Bulgaria, such as the Trakia Economic Zone. With their support, the building of
a new industrial zone is planned, as well as the ongoing development of the present ones.

Most of the industrial manufacturing business is concentrated in two clearly defined
industrial areas in Ruse - East and West. , в
In these areas the Municipality offers land for sale to potential investors.
The sale procedures can start right after the submition of the application
for investment interest.

INDUSTRIAL PARK – RUSE is located on a plot of 63.9 ha near the border checkpoint „Danube Bridge“ and is planned for expansion in the coming years. Its technical infrastruc- ture includes connection with the Ruse-Silistra main road; internal street network servicing the terrains of the Indus- trial Park; gas distribution network; electrical sub-station; water supply network; cable duct networks. There is a rail- way line passing nearby.

FREE ZONE - RUSE EAD is located about 800 meters east of the Danube Bridge, close to the largest river port in Bulgaria - Port of Ruse-East. One of its terrains operates as a des- ignated customs territory. Free Zone - Ruse has additional terrains of about 20 ha. The terrains do not fall under a spe- cial regime and can be sold and developed according to the needs of potential investors. The infrastructure includes a concrete batching plant and a depot for light petroleum prod- ucts, access roads and railways, a railway station with four tracks, gantry cranes, a road ramp and a quay wall.

THE DANUBE INDUSTRIAL ZONE TEGRA is located on
the Danube river bank. It has a road infrastructure with
access control, available drinking and industrial water,
sew- erage for domestic and industrial wastewater, as
well as a power substation. TEGRA zone features a port
with seven ship berths and a capacity to handle all types
of cargo. There are manufacturing companies in the field
of mechanical engineering, metal- working, production
of construction equip- ment, vegetable oils, biodiesel,
bitumen and fuels. TEGRA is the only liquefied
nat- ural gas terminal in Bulgaria with the
possibility of transshipment from and to ships, loading of ships, loading of tank trucks and refueling
of vehicles with liquefied natural gas (LNG). The area
offers land for rent or for sale, production and storage
facilities, as well as administrative offices.

LOGISTICS PARK - BPD RUSE is located in the Industrial Park - Ruse and provides available warehouses and office space. Its total area is 54 000 sq.m, and the technical spec- ifications include: pre-cast concrete structures; 10 m. clear height; high resistance industrial floor 5 t/sq.m; ESFR sprin- kler system; ramps, maneuvering space, infrastructure; flex- ible size and distribution of space.

CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE AT THE UNIVERSI- TY OF RUSE - an ultra-modern laboratory re- search complex for business support. Innova- tive technological solutions are developed here in order to provide a competitive advantage to the companies in the Danube region.

LVZ INDUSTRIAL PARK is located on a former locomotive and wagon plant and has the status of „Mainly production area“. Its total area is 16 ha, and a four-lane road is under construction on its territory, a collector with the ability to supply electricity, water and sewerage, gas and informa- tion connectivity. A photovoltaic power plant is planned to be built on the roofs of the buildings. Repairs of wagons and locomotives will be carried out in the park, and part of the terrains will be offered for high-tech production oper- ations or warehousing and logistics activities.

BUSINESS PARK - RUSE s an office com- plex located in the heart of the city, between two main boulevards and in close proximity to public transport stops. Its convenient lo- cation allows easy and quick access to any part of the city. It consists of 4 buildings located on plots with a total area of 26,000 square meters. The main part of each build- ing is designed and used for offices and re- tail space. There is also a medical centre for pre-hospital care on the territory of the Busi- ness Park. Business Park - Ruse has an un- derground parking lot with an area of 7,500 square meters and over 500 parking spaces.
