Human capital development – subsidized employment, training, and retraining;
Better working environment and mobility – healthy working conditions and flexible forms of employment.
“The knowledge triangle” combining education, research and innovations is one of the main themes in the Strategy for smart specialisation of Ruse. The economy in the region concentrates entrepreneurial, technology, science, human, cultural and creative resources and here, the universities and research centres are the most important local assets.
The development of high-tech production and knowledge-intensive services is part of the national policy. Within the sector specialisation of Ruse region, the priority for financial support will be granted to companies operating in the following areas:
Manufacturing of machinery and equipment;
Manufacturing of electrical systems and equipment;
Manufacturing of chemical products;
Apparel manufacturing;
Food production;
Metal products manufacturing.
Agriculture is another sector which will get financial support in the coming years for investing in new technologies, farms digitalisation, ecology, energy efficiency and organic farming.
