The city of Ruse topped the ranking of European Cities and Regions of the Future 2024/25 in the category of cost effi- ciency for small European cities by fDi Intelligence (a divi- sion of the Financial Times). In the same category, but in the ranking for small regions, the Ruse region ranks in the top five. The prestigious ranking uses data for 521 locations (379 cities and 142 regions).
