Mayor Pencho Milkov and Deputy Mayors Zlatomyra Stefanova and Dimitar Nedev were on a working visit to the temporary production base of the German car heater manufacturer Eberspächer. The activity was presented by the manager Ruslan Papazyan and the director of new productions for the company Markus Alles.

"We are happy that you chose Ruse to expand your production. For us, the assessment of the company is also an assessment of the city and the direction in which it is developing. A cluster of companies working for the automotive industry and expanding their activities is gradually forming here. Your presence is a very important moment in this development, and I am convinced that, apart from everything else, we can also gain great experience in corporate culture and people management from you," said the mayor.

Eberspächer specializes in the production of low-voltage and high-voltage heaters for electric, hybrid and hydrogen-powered vehicles. Two of the company's growing divisions related to the assembly of various air conditioning products will operate in Ruse.

"The flow process is automated, and the production itself is absolutely clean and is done under hyperpressure conditions," Papazian points out.

The company operates in over 80 locations worldwide and produces heaters for some of the most iconic models of automotive giants such as Mercedes, Ford, Toyota and many others.

There are already 120 people in the Ruse team, and another 100 are expected to be appointed by the end of the year.

The current production is a temporary solution until the construction of the company's new building, the construction of which will start in March and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The modern building will be located on an area of 17 thousand m2 with the possibility of almost double expansion.

Eberspächer was founded in 1865 by Jakob Eberspächer, and today around six million vehicles worldwide are already equipped with its high-voltage heaters and electronic control units. In 2021, the group's gross global annual revenues amount to €6 billion.
