Successful commercial practices and marketing strategies for reaching foreign markets were the main topics of the Digital4Ruse international online trade conference, which is currently being held at the Ruse University's Kanev Center. It was opened by the mayor Pencho Milkov and the rector of the "Angel Kanchev" RU, Academician Hristo Beloev dtn, and Ruse is the first city out of ten in the country, where events of a similar nature will take place.

"Dozens of ventures are starting from Ruse, and I am satisfied that the great potential of our city is appreciated by the digital industry and will be invested in its development", said Milkov in his address to those present at the conference, stressing that such meetings will contribute to the disclosure of new opportunities for the leading companies in this field.

The event, whose leading theme is international online trade, is part of the annual calendar of the large-scale Digital4Bulgaria project. Its mission is to support the development of the digital industry in Bulgaria, creating added value for the community and helping the digital transformation of businesses.

The conference was attended by successful entrepreneurs from Bulgaria and Romania, experts in the field of international digital marketing, freight forwarding, tax law and others.

In 2023, apart from Ruse, Digital4 events will be hosted by 9 of the country's leading business centers – Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Vidin, Sofia, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Pleven and Stara Zagora.
