The Municipality of Ruse has started the organization of the procedure for leasing the first 27 out of a total of 48 pavilions for commercial activity, located in the immediate vicinity of stops of the city transport lines. This became possible after the Municipal Council voted last year and this year decisions to terminate the two long-term concession contracts for 260 bus stops in the city, and the Municipality of Ruse took ownership with handover protocols.

Leasing of the commercial premises will be done through a public auction with open bidding. In the procedure, the introduction of additional tender conditions is also being considered, which will be related only to the appearance of the objects and the maintenance of cleanliness around them.

The rental price of each object is separately calculated in accordance with the initial rental prices provided for in Ordinance No. 2 of the Ruse Municipal Council. According to preliminary calculations, the starting prices during the auction will not exceed BGN 100 per month. The pavilions are between 4 and 6 square meters in size, and some of them are fitted with modules for placing refrigerated showcases.

The first auction for leasing the commercial premises is expected to be held in mid-April. In this regard, detailed information regarding all terms and conditions will be published in advance.
