From May 11 to 13, the 18th Tourist Exhibition "Weekend Tourism" will be held in the Revenue Building. In parallel with it, residents of Ruse and guests of the city will be able to visit the 15th edition of the Tourist Entertainment and Animation Festival, which will take place in the Central Garden and on the Largo in front of the opera house. The two events are under the patronage of the mayor Pencho Milkov and are organized by the Municipality of Ruse and the Municipal Foundation "Ruse-City of the Free Spirit" with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

40 stands of various tour operators, museums, institutions, municipalities and embassies will be presented in the Income Building. The official opening of the tourist exhibition will begin at 12:00 in front of the emblematic building of Ruse with a performance by Dance Studio "Freedom". In the lobby of the Revenue Building, presentations will be presented about festivals in Bulgaria and their impact on the development of culture and local communities, as well as about the cultural heritage of several Bulgarian cities. On May 12, at 9:30 a.m. in the Europa hall, the forum "Digitalization, innovations and trends in the field of culture and tourism" will begin.

The festival of tourist entertainment and animation will start at 11:00 on Thursday in the Central Garden area, where more than 120 sites will be located. During the three festival days, various crafts and demonstrations from all over Bulgaria will be presented. Chess for children, bicycle playground, climbing wall, retrophoto, vertical rope playground are just some of the attractions in the program. Konstantin Kanin and Iliyan Valchanov will present their exhibition "Inhabitants of Ruse Polomie" to the attention of Ruse residents, and the Ruse Society of Artists will present a photo exhibition "Ruse - my city". During the day, the school for proto-Bulgarian martial arts "BagaTur" and a team from the fortress "Tuida" - the city of Sliven will present attractive performances, including elements of medieval life, reenactments of battle scenes and archery.

At 12 o'clock on the stage in front of the Revenue Building, the mayor of Ruse Municipality, Pencho Milkov, will give an official welcome to the participants of the Tourist Exhibition and Festival of Tourist Animations.

Among the highlights of the events on May 11 is the culinary show of Ivan Zvezdev, who will cook for the people of Rusyn on the central square from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The attraction that has become emblematic of the festival - a hot air balloon - will be raised from 5 to 7 p.m., and from 6 p.m. the "Big Band Parade" will begin, which will include bands from Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo and the Municipal Brass Orchestra of Ruse with the special participation of Orlin Pavlov.

The second day will offer, in addition to attractions and exhibitions, performances by the "Prista" vocal group led by Dorothea Bajlovska from 6:30 p.m., and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. pop diva Michaela Marinova will perform a concert on the stage next to the Courthouse.

On Saturday, at 9 a.m., the International Culinary Competition with young people "Like the Chefs" will be held, and at 11 a.m., the culinary competition "Hope with hot peppers" organized by Hot farm Strashimirovo will begin. From 11:40 a.m. there will be a children's disco for the little ones - animation at the PGT "Ivan P. Pavlov".

At 7 p.m., on the stage next to the Courthouse, the band Skandau will open the RUSE LIGHT & RHYTHM FEST festival, and after it the host Boyan Todorov will perform his songs. From 8:10 p.m., a hip-hop night with the rap star 100 Kila will begin, and the festive program will be closed with an attractive drone light show.
