The German high-tech international company ATN started its activities in August near Ruse. This became clear from the meeting of the mayor Pencho Milkov, the deputy mayor Zlatomyra Stefanova, the manager of the company Martin Heitzel and the technical manager for Bulgaria Sava Dzhanfezov.
"This is another opportunity for Rousse - not only for those who will have the chance to work under better conditions and pay, but also for our entire community, which will be able to develop knowledge and capacity for this high-tech activity," said the mayor.
As the main advantages of Ruse and the region, Pencho Milkov pointed out the excellent training of technical and engineering personnel at the University of Ruse, the possibility of opening dual classes in secondary education, as well as the mass introduction of free lessons in robotics and software coding for third-grade students in municipal schools schools.
The company is multi-faceted, focused on innovative engineering solutions and machine building for the manufacturing industry. The work is highly automated and complies with the requirements for air cleanliness.
ATN already has its own production base near the city of Marten. For the first phase of the project, the Bulgarian team will undergo specialized training. In the future, similar to the other branches of the company, the number of employees will increase so that the actual manufacturing of the robotic machines in Bulgaria can begin.
