"The biggest problem for the industry is the high prices of construction materials and the lack of personnel," said Atanasov.

He also said that the Chamber is working with the students of the Construction High School in Ruse, where a class for dual education has also been opened. The lack of construction specialists and managers in the industry was also confirmed by the representatives of the Municipality of Ruse.

"We want more work," announced the representatives of the construction business.

They expressed their displeasure with the fact that in the past companies external to Ruse carried out large-scale infrastructure projects in the city.

The Chairman of the Chamber talked about the difficulties created by the extended procedures under the PPA - work at old prices and the unpredictability of subcontractors.

Magdalina Ilieva presented the highlights of the capital program of the Municipality of Ruse for 2022. The focus is the improvement of inter-block spaces and street lighting, development of the bicycle network and construction of educational infrastructure facilities.

The meeting was part of the open reception of "Stroitel" in Ruse.
