On July 10, 2024, Orgachim Resins AD, a leading industrial enterprise in Ruse, was awarded a Class A investment certificate by the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA). The certificate, presented to CEO Razvan Garbur by BIA Executive Director Mila Nenova, was granted for the company’s project “Reconstruction, Renovation, and Modernization of a Building.”
The project, which earned the Class A certificate, includes significant investments aimed at enhancing production capacities, implementing new technologies, and improving energy efficiency. These measures are expected to lead to higher productivity and better working conditions for the company’s employees. The modernization will also strengthen Orgachim Resins' position as a key player in the region’s industrial sector, contributing to sustainable development.
Orgachim Resins is part of the **Policolor-Orgachim Group**, with the major shareholder being Whitebeam Holdings Limited, based in Malta, owned by the Romanian company Policolor. The company has a long-standing industrial tradition in Ruse, dating back to its founding in 1901 as a trading company under the name "Albert B. Iskovich."
In September 2013, Orgachim was divided into three independent companies:
The company operates from two industrial sites in Ruse, located in the Western and Eastern Industrial Zones. Orgachim Resins has an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons, with its products well recognized on the international market. Their key brands include Balkyd (for alkyd resins), Orgapol (for saturated polyester resins), Orgacryl (for acrylate resins), and Vinalkyd (for unsaturated polyester resins).
Receiving the Class A certificate marks an important milestone in the development of Orgachim Resins. The investment in innovative technologies and improved production processes will enable the company to respond more effectively to the increasing demands of the market and solidify its leadership position in the industry.
While the significance of this certificate is primarily related to the development of the company itself, the modernization will also have a positive impact on the local economy. Investments in production capacity and the creation of better working conditions will strengthen the region's resilience and attract new employment opportunities.
The Class A investment certificate is a significant tool for Orgachim Resins in their pursuit of innovation and sustainable development. The project for reconstruction and modernization is an important step towards establishing Ruse as an industrial hub and ensuring the long-term stability of local businesses.
