Modern engineering solutions, industrial automation and technologies aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency were at the centre of the National Conference “Industrial Technologies” 2026, held on 10 October in Ruse.

Organised by the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design (KIIP), through its National Professional Section “Technologies”, the conference brought together nearly 40 engineers and business representatives. Participants exchanged professional expertise, presented modern technical solutions and discussed current challenges facing the industrial sector.

Technological Solutions for Modern Industry

The conference programme covered a wide range of topics related to the development of industrial technologies and the optimisation of manufacturing processes.

Key areas included the storage and use of liquefied natural gas, industrial automation, pipeline operational safety, modern industrial flooring solutions and more efficient warehouse space management.

Participants were welcomed by Nikola Lazarov, Deputy Mayor of Ruse Municipality, who highlighted the importance of professional knowledge exchange and cooperation between engineering specialists, businesses and academic institutions.

He emphasised Ruse's long-standing industrial traditions and its potential for further development through the adoption of new technologies and the establishment of sustainable professional partnerships.
