A working meeting was held at the Municipality of Ruse between Deputy Mayors Zlatomira Stefanova and Dimitar Nedev, and Dimitar Galabov, CEO of “Sutherland Global Services Bulgaria.” The purpose of the visit was to discuss the company’s interest in Ruse as a potential location for expanding its operations in Bulgaria.
Mr. Galabov emphasized that “Sutherland” has extensive experience in building sustainable and long-term partnerships with local authorities, and the company is known for its high adaptability when entering new locations. He noted that Ruse possesses significant potential, and the company will be seeking highly qualified professionals with language skills in 17 European languages, including Romanian and Czech.
The Municipality of Ruse expressed its full willingness to assist with administrative and logistical matters related to the potential establishment of operations in the city. Deputy Mayor Zlatomira Stefanova highlighted the importance of such an investment for the regional economy:
"Creating new jobs is one of our key priorities. We believe that partnering with an established company like Sutherland Global Services Bulgaria will create opportunities for growth and help retain professionals in the city."
The company is one of the leading providers of business services and outsourcing solutions, with over 17 years of presence in the Bulgarian market and more than 1,600 employees. It currently operates offices in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Burgas, as well as through remote models. As part of its expansion strategy, Ruse is being considered as a potential new location, with the possibility of creating over 150 jobs in the first year of operations.
The potential entry of “Sutherland Global Services Bulgaria” into Ruse is yet another example of the growing interest in the city from international investors. The sustainable economic growth, strong educational infrastructure, and support from local authorities continue to establish Ruse as a competitive and attractive business environment.
