The aim is to build an ecosystem for the European Open Web Search and Analysis Infrastructure (OWSAI).

FOR WHOM:

- High-tech small and medium-sized enterprises or startups involved in web technology or software development.

- Natural persons (innovators, researchers at universities or research centers).

WHAT:

OpenWebSearch.eu aims to build and pilot a legally compliant open web index as a European infrastructure. To this end, teams are sought to contribute to this in the form of studies on the legislative and economic aspects of open web searches, as well as concepts of lawful data collection and processing.

The invitation is divided into two topics:

- Topic 1: Conceptual studies of the legal or economic aspects of open search spaces;

- Topic 2: Technical approaches to acquire data in accordance with the law, taking into account the existing limitations

HOW MUCH:

Under Topic 1: between 25,000 and 75,000 euros per project;

Under Topic 2: between 60,000 and 120,000 euros per project.
